About zaimler
zaimler
builds the context infrastructure for the agentic era. AI agents can't reason over data they don't understand. Enterprise data today is fragmented across dozens of systems with no shared context, meaning, or structure, and that's why most enterprise AI is failing. The shift from copilots to autonomous agents is creating an entirely new infrastructure layer, and we're building it.
zaimler is the context infrastructure for the agentic era: a platform that automatically discovers domain knowledge, maps relationships, and gives AI agents the semantic understanding to operate with precision at scale. Imagine knowledge graphs that support real-time inference, built for systems that need to reason, not just retrieve.
zaimler was founded by Biswajit Das (ex-VP Engineering, Truera), a Data Infra veteran and former Chief Architect at Visa, and Sofus Macskassy (ex-Director of Engineering, LinkedIn), who built one of the largest knowledge graphs in production in the industry at LinkedIn. We're a small, senior team at the seed stage, deploying with major enterprises across insurance, travel, and technology. If you want to build infrastructure that the next decade of AI runs on, we'd love to talk.
About the Role As a Senior Product Designer at zaimler, you will work closely with our Founding Product Designer on the design of complex, data-rich enterprise experiences from concept to production.
You’ll work at the intersection of product, engineering, and applied science, translating deeply technical capabilities into intuitive, trustworthy workflows. Much of what we build doesn’t have obvious precedents, which means this role requires systems thinking, comfort with ambiguity, and strong product judgment.
You won’t just design interfaces. You’ll help define how users explore knowledge graphs, understand relationships, debug agent behavior, and trust AI-driven systems.
What you will do
Build end-to-end product design across core zaimler experiences, from discovery through polished UI.
Design intuitive workflows for complex data systems, semantic models, and AI-powered capabilities.
Translate abstract technical concepts into clear, usable interfaces.
Partner closely with engineers and scientists to shape features early, before they’re fully defined.
Conduct and synthesize user research with enterprise customers.
Define and evolve design patterns, interaction models, and visual standards.
Advocate for usability, clarity, and long-term product coherence in roadmap decisions.
Raise the bar for design quality across the organization.
Prior Experience
5+ years of product design experience, ideally in enterprise, data, infrastructure, or developer-focused products.
Strong systems thinking and experience designing complex workflows.
A portfolio that demonstrates clarity in data-dense or technically sophisticated environments.
Excellent visual, interaction, and information design skills.
Fluency in modern design tools (Figma preferred).
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate deeply with technical teams.
Comfort operating in fast-moving, early-stage environments.
Nice to have
Experience designing AI, ML, or data platform products.
Experience designing for technical users (data engineers, platform teams, etc.).
Experience contributing to or building design systems.
We value builders over résumés. If this role excites you but you don’t check every box, we still want to hear from you. zaimler is an equal opportunity employer.
