
We’re looking for friendly, reliable event staff to serve at various events throughout the year.
From weddings and graduation parties to community celebrations and corporate events, no two weeks ever look the same!
This position runs from April 2026-October 2026. Seasonal event scoopers will be required to work a minimum of 2 events per month from April - October of 2026.
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
Scoop and serve ice cream to guests
Interact with guests in a fun, upbeat way
Handle basic POS/cash transactions
Help with setup, cleanup, and restocking
Represent our brand professionally at all events
Other duties as assigned
In addition to the above tasks, Event Leads:
Drive our ice cream truck and/or company van to and from events
Prepare the truck and/or van with supplies and ice cream before each event and unload supplies and ice cream after each event
Set up the truck, mobile dip cabinet, or tabletop service at each event, being ready to serve by the event start time
Serve as the primary point of contact for event hosts on the day of the event
Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of event execution
Communicate closely with the Event Manager regarding event logistics, last‑minute event changes, etc.

Schedule & Availability:
Events vary in day, time, and frequency. Some weeks have no events while others may have multiple. Most events occur in the evening and weekends
Staff are offered events in advance and can accept or decline based on their availability
Each event scooper must work a minimumof 2 events per month (April 2026 - October 2026)
Most event shifts are 4-5 hours long
Requirements:
18 years or older
Can stay unapologetically positive in a high-volume & customer-facing position
Can work in the outdoor heat
Can stand on your feet for long periods of time
Current Food Handler’s permit (can obtain after hire)
Respect for safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work in close proximity to others
In addition to the above requirements, Event Leads:
Must have a clean driving record. All offers of employment are contingent upon maintaining a clean driving record after hire.
Ability to drive a large truck and the company van with a trailer attached (can be trained after hire)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Position Type: Part time (must work a minimum of 2 events per month)
Event Scooper Pay Range: $15 per hour + tips
Event Lead Pay Range: $20.50 per hour + tips
