
Job Title: Associate Brand Manager

Job Summary This position is responsible for leading and managing one or more of our consumer brands within the Women's Health Portfolio as key executor within the marketing team. The individual must be able to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with an emphasis on collective, collaborative teamwork.
Major Responsibilities/Activities We are seeking an experienced Associate Brand Manager who has a digital first mindset combined with strong cross functional team management.
Support the Brand Managers in the development and implementation of a brand plan for driving sustainable, long‑term growth while delivering the budget and strategy for the current fiscal year
Must have experience supporting the Monthly and longer term S&OP planning process
Help support the creation of annual strategic and operating plans
Analysis, tracking, generation of data and reports that lead to insights that drive action plans
Oversight of the marketing programming that engages consumers and provides compelling retailer traction that supports distribution and generates display activity and on‑premise activation
Project manage cross functional teams in the delivery of all marketing support tactics
Manage budget for programming and all related PO and AP tracking to stay within budget
Manage, with partners, the design, procurement, distribution of merchandising materials for POS and Programs
Generate selling materials that provide the sales organization ample, yet simple and compelling rationale for customers to support brand initiatives
Generate creative ideas that support brand needs that gain consumer and customer traction
Market Analysis
Provides consumption‑based data analysis for the brand, actionable insight and support to the enterprise to better understand market trends and dynamics. Also, identifies opportunities in markets where there are unmet needs.
Sales Support
Provides the sales organization with best in class materials for retailer presentations working closely with Category Management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Marketing, or equivalent work experience
Minimum 4 years of related work experience
Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a results‑oriented consumer product marketing role at a marketing driven organization
Demonstrated leadership and team skills — demonstrates ability to deliver strong business results by working collaboratively with both internal and external resource effectively. Utilizes resources effectively to overcome challenges and achieve business objectives. Takes ownership where appropriate
Project Planning and Cross Functional Management: Proven experience in project planning and management, budgeting and financial analysis, and product positioning
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams to project completion
Strategic Thinking Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, add value, and provide action‑oriented recommendations in‑line with business objectives
Ability to deliver against the long‑term brand goals. Prioritizes marketing initiatives to effectively achieve both short‑term and long‑term goals
Demonstrated ability to gather consumer insights through quantitative and qualitative market research and translate into creative marketing initiatives
Experience in developing consumer marketing communications – especially within the digital space (social)
Strong communication and influence skills — clear, concise, and persuasive in style. Supports brand manager in thinking of both marketing and cross‑functional counterparts and agencies. Ability to build strong relationships with agency, cross‑functional teams, and vendors
Energized by an entrepreneurial environment — not afraid to do things themselves to get things done. Comfortable making decisions with limited information and resources. Self‑reliant / proactive and has a pioneering spirit. Takes initiative and follows through on commitments to achieve results
Familiarity with company sales and merchandising standards, policies and procedures, and competitive position. Knowledge of the industry
High proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Travel 10% ability to travel via car, plane, rail
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
