Job Summary: Seeking a Business Development Representative to become the face of our consulting firm. Key Responsibilities: Prospect and identify new business opportunities in target industries Leverage existing relationships with business owners and C-level executives in the greater Houston area. Articulate Indigo Beam's service offerings, qualify opportunities, and conduct professional sales presentations. Attend networking events, build brand recognition, and contribute to building the sales pipeline. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and develop/write detailed proposals for potential clients in collaboration with our sales support team. Support senior sales leaders with pipeline management and account planning Stay updated with industry trends, collaborate with internal teams, and negotiate contracts to meet or exceed sales targets. Requirements: Experience working with the State of Texas and DIR (strongly preferred) Proven experience engaging business owners and key decision makers. Strong sales acumen, formal sales training, and a track record of achieving sales goals At least 3 years of previous experience in sales, account management, or business development (IT Consulting or Technology Services preferred) Working knowledge of software services and strong organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, collaboration, and self-motivation. Fearless attitude with a mission-driven personality. Full benefits including 401k with company match, unlimited PTO, and paid holidays. Compensation: Up to $80,000/year plus commissions ($250,000 total compensation on target).
