We are looking for a driven, proactive Account Executive (Entertainment) to join our sales team. This role will focus on supporting and growing advertising partnerships across the Post's entertainment brandsincluding Page Six, Decider, and related West Coast initiativeswhile also working across the broader New York Post portfolio. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious seller who understands media ad sales, has a book of business within entertainment, and is hungry to grow accounts, close deals, and help expand the Post's footprint on the West Coast. Responsibilities

Partner closely with the Account Director to support and grow entertainment-focused advertising accounts across Page Six, Decider, NYP and California Post. Prospect, pitch, and close new business with local and national entertainment brands. Manage and grow a developing book of business, including both agency and direct client relationships. Assist in the development of custom digital advertising solutions, sponsorships, and branded content opportunities. Participate in client meetings, presentations, RFP responses, and proposal development. Own portions of the sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to negotiation and post-sale account management. Maintain accurate pipelines, forecasts, and activity tracking within CRM systems. Stay current on entertainment, pop culture, media trends, and competitive offerings to effectively position Post brands. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, editorial, and operations teams to ensure strong campaign execution and client satisfaction. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 3 years of true ad sales experience, preferably within media, digital publishing, news, or entertainment-focused organizations. Existing book of business within entertainment, including relationships with agencies and/or direct brand clients. Experience selling digital advertising solutions, sponsorships, or integrated media packages. Proven ability to prospect, pitch, and close business in a competitive sales environment. Comfortable working with both agency partners and direct advertisers. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and eager to grow within a fast-paced startup-style environment. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously. Note: This role is primarily based in our Los Angeles office. Hybrid work may be permitted, with the expectation of regular on-site presence for core team collaboration and client-facing activities, excluding external sales meetings or required travel. NYC-based candidates will also be considered on a hybrid basis (subject to change based on business needs). Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 Base + commission/sales bonus plan. A final decision on the successful candidate's starting salary will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to competitive market practice, internal equity, experience, tenure, and essential skills.
