A well-established property management company is seeking a detail-oriented
Property Management Administrative Assistant
to support daily operations, vendor management, work order coordination, and overall management tasks. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience in the property management industry and is comfortable working with
AppFolio
or similar property management software.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with
vendor management
, including scheduling, follow-ups, and maintaining vendor compliance documentation.
Create, assign, and track
work orders
, ensuring timely completion and clear communication between tenants, vendors, and management.
Support property managers with administrative tasks such as resident communication, notices, file updates, and lease documentation.
Maintain accurate records in
AppFolio
, including work order updates, vendor info, tenant data, and property files.
Respond to resident inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and urgency.
Assist with processing invoices and verifying vendor billing for accuracy.
Provide general office support, scheduling, and coordination as needed.
Requirements
1+ year of property management experience required
AppFolio experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of industry processes: work orders, vendor scheduling, tenant communication, maintenance coordination
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and support multiple properties/managers
Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
