Loan Processor
Loan Processor provides support to the department with focus on document processing, payment application, system maintenance, file maintenance, and customer service. Major Duties: Working with loan officers to produce legally enforceable closing documentation Processing payments and proper money movement in accordance with accounting requirements Provide support and knowledge to department Manage loan and accounts on the bank's operating systems Communicate well by email, phone, or written letter to customers and co-workers Help the department maintain sound credit administration and safe banking practices Assist in loan reviews, audits, and regulatory examinations Attend meetings and educational events to obtain information Maintain a sufficient understanding of and adhere to regulatory compliance requirements as applicable, including BSA/OFAC Other duties as assigned by supervisor Lending or leasing experience is helpful to do these tasks: handle loan docs, multitask well, work accurately under pressure, and have basic accounting or general-ledger experience. Personal & Educational Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year banking experience Excellent organizational skills Excellent inter-personal skills Detail oriented Problem solving skills College classes in Business Field preferred Physical Qualifications: Be able to lift &/or carry up to 50 lbs. Be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
