Government Sales Support Specialist
The Government Sales Support Specialist, reporting to the Sr. Government support specialist, plays a key role in supporting Agiliti's prosthetic and capital government accounts and ensuring the efficient management of federal, state, and municipal government customer activities. This role focuses on providing high-quality customer service, supporting contract and billing processes, and maintaining compliance with government requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and a foundational understanding of government accounts. Essential Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for government account support activities. Support all capital and rental billing processes related to government contracts. Research, track, and maintain records of government-related transactions; prepare and distribute activity reports as required. Assist in the review and analysis of contracts and purchase orders to ensure alignment with proposals and negotiated terms. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoicing issues, including investigating unpaid invoices and addressing discrepancies. Respond to inquiries from Program Managers and customers regarding products, services, and account details; proactively recommend additional or alternative services where applicable. Open and maintain customer accounts; ensure records are accurate and up to date. Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders; actively contribute to team success. Assist in the preparation of responses to government Requests for Proposals (RFPs), quotes, and solicitations. Coordinate and process ECAT orders, including generating reports, tracking revenue and order status, and ensuring timely fulfillment. Support the maintenance of Agiliti's federal schedules and ensure contract compliance and proper recordkeeping. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance workflows, and improve overall service delivery. Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance contract performance and operational efficiency. Maintain organized and auditable documentation for all contract-related correspondence. Develop reports and dashboards to communicate order status, key issues, and milestones to internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all OSHA, HIPAA, regulatory, and company-specific policies and procedures. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Required Skills/Experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create reports and maintain accurate spreadsheets and databases. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with keen attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to provide clear status updates to clients, leadership, and peers. Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service, both in person and over the phone. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with reliable follow-through and the ability to anticipate and address issues proactively. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interact professionally and effectively with a wide variety of individuals, both internally and externally. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Experience in account management, preferably supporting government or public sector customers. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or experience in government contracting is a plus.
