We are looking for a talented Production Associate
Level II to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in North Charleston, SC. Maintain High-Quality Standards: Following standard work procedures and performing quality inspections will ensure that products meet the required specifications and reduce quality issues. Enhance Productivity: Operating both manual and automated equipment efficiently will help achieve production goals and meet customer expectations. Support Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in initiatives to improve quality, safety, processes, and material flow will drive overall operational excellence. Foster Team Collaboration: Communicating effectively with your team and support staff will enhance teamwork and ensure smooth operations. Develop Skills and Knowledge: Engaging in training and personal development will keep you aligned with business requirements and enhance your competency in core work skills. Maintain Equipment and Work Area: Keeping your work area clean and performing routine maintenance tasks will ensure equipment reliability and a safe, organized workspace. Education/Experience: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience. Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position
Additional Information: Demonstrates strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all tasks. Brings prior CNC or machining experience, which supports effective operation of equipment and processes. Utilizes previous experience with hand tools to perform tasks safely and efficiently. Applies familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and maintain quality standards. Requires frequent lifting and handling up to ~30 pounds. Must be able to wear company provided PPE (e.g., gloves, eye protection, face shields, protective footwear, hearing protection, high visibility vests, etc).
