We are looking for a detail‑oriented
Construction Estimator
to join our Special Projects Group. This role will focus on preparing accurate estimates and proposals for a variety of fast‑paced, smaller‑scale commercial construction projects, including tenant improvements, renovations, and special assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to prepare detailed estimates
Perform quantity take‑offs and develop pricing for labor, materials, and subcontractors
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor bids to ensure competitive coverage
Prepare budgets, proposals, and bid packages for negotiated and hard‑bid work
Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify scope and identify cost‑saving opportunities
Maintain historical cost data and update estimating tools for accuracy
Support turnover meetings to ensure a smooth handoff to operations teams
Qualifications
3–5+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction (special projects, TI, renovations preferred)
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and subcontractor trades
Proficiency with estimating software, take‑off tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Strong communication and organizational skills with a client‑first mindset
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
