About the Role The VP, Enterprise Partnerships, Financial Services is a key leader in Dow Jones’ Enterprise function.

Reporting to the SVP, Enterprise Partnerships, the Sector Lead for Financial Services will own the end‑to‑

end strategy and execution for driving revenue throughout this sector. The role demands a deep

understanding of the sector’s ecosystem, the ability to forge C‑suite relationships, and the skill to

orchestrate cross‑functional resources to deliver integrated solutions that leverage Dow Jones’ full suite

of assets, spanning data, insights, publishing, events, and professional solutions. Success will be

measured by revenue growth, pipeline, executive‑level account penetration, and direct contribution to

the Enterprise Partnerships global client partnership objectives.

You Will

Develop and execute a comprehensive go‑to‑market strategy for Dow Jones’ Customers and Partners in the Financial Services sector (banks, asset managers, private equity, and related institutions), securing buy‑in from company stakeholders. Frequent updates on performance of the vertical and execution to the agreed strategy required for alignment with the global client partnership framework.

Drive revenue growth through identifying new enterprise accounts from within Dow Jones’ existing customer base, expansion within existing enterprise accounts, and upsell/cross‑sell of our integrated product portfolio.

Build and maintain deep executive‑level relationships (C‑suite and board‑level) with key decision‑makers, positioning Dow Jones as a strategic partner.

Lead a dedicated pod as well as cross functional stakeholders; set clear targets, pipeline development, deal velocity, and customer satisfaction.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, technology, marketing, advertising, events, legal, finance, and editorial teams to package and present holistic solutions.

Own the vertical’s success, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation to maximize ROI. Deliver monthly variance analysis with root‑cause commentary and corrective actions.

Continuously map the competitive landscape, client pain points, and emerging trends to refine value propositions. Regularly surface top client insights to influence company‑wide product roadmap and innovation priorities. Prepare and present “Voice of Financial Services” report to the SVP, Enterprise Partnership and Office of the CRO for escalation to Product/Tech leadership.

Represent the company at industry conferences, roundtables, and client events. Coordinate speaking slots and sponsorships with the Enterprise Partnerships team to ensure alignment with global brand strategy.

Maintain accurate pipeline, account plans, and opportunity data; provide weekly flash reports and monthly deep‑dive updates.

Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer‑centricity.

You Have

Extensive experience in enterprise sales within the financial services sector, with a proven track record of closing complex, multimillion‑dollar deals.

Domain expertise in financial services, including regulatory environments, risk management, digital transformation trends and other priorities that are consistent across the world's leading financial institutions.

Demonstrated success in building and leading high‑performing teams in a matrixed organization.

A minimum of 15 years in strategic sales, business development, or account executive roles, with at least 10 years focused on this sector.

Demonstrated emotional intelligence (EQ) in prior roles, evidenced by retained client relationships, leadership through crises, low team attrition, effective management under pressure, and testimonials from cross‑functional leaders.

Serve as the “early warning system” for relationship risk; proactively flag sentiment shifts in key accounts and recommend executive‑level intervention before issues escalates.

Experience orchestrating cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Proven ability to elevate and partner with C‑level executives (internal and external).

Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and internal alignment sessions.

Business fluency in English; additional languages a plus.

Pay Range: $270,000 - $320,000
