Business Unit Manager .

Job Responsibilities

Technical Business Development: Drive new business growth by promoting engineering-heavy products and services to key decision-makers

Engineering Consultation: Analyze customer requirements to prepare technical specifications and recommend specific design modifications for proposed installations

Customer Liaison: Act as the lead technical point of contact regarding product applications, sales, installations, and ongoing service needs

Proposal Engineering: Support the end-to-end development of complex proposals, ensuring technical accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and on-time submission

Field Representation: Travel up to 80% to customer sites, industry conferences, and trade shows to identify emerging market opportunities

Strategic Prospecting: Identify and cultivate relationships with engineering and procurement leads to expand the company's Aerospace market footprint

Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all business activities are conducted with the highest integrity and in full compliance with industry-specific laws and regulations

Education & Core Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical work experience is REQUIRED

Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience, with a strong preference for candidates coming from the Aerospace industry

Proven ability to apply engineering principles to the sales and installation process

Technical & Soft Skills

Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to examine customer sites and recommend complex technical design modifications

Communication: Exceptional ability to translate dense engineering data into compelling sales presentations

Resilience: Highly organized and able to manage a rigorous 80% travel schedule independently

Integrity: A track record of ethical behavior and honest business dealings

Physical Requirements

High Mobility: Ability to travel up to 80% of the time via air and car

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during trade shows or client site visits
