
Oakbrook Corporation is seeking a motivated Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of one of our residential communities in the Madison area. In this role, you will help ensure a positive living experience for residents by assisting with leasing, maintenance coordination, resident relations, and property oversight. Key Responsibilities
Assist with leasing, marketing initiatives, and property tours
Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries
Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor scheduling
Complete regular property inspections to ensure appearance and safety standards
Prepare weekly and monthly reporting (traffic, marketing, market studies)
Support rent collection, lease administration, and file management
Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies
Collaborate with the Property Manager to support day‑to‑day operations
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in property management, leasing, sales, or customer service preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
Ability to perform regular property inspections (with or without accommodations)
Computer proficiency
A positive, customer‑focused approach with a willingness to learn
