
Assists the Director of Financial Aid in administering federal, state, and institutional scholarships, grants, and student loans. Assists the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management with academic advising and recruiting functions for the campuses.

Assists students in applying and resolving issues relating to the application process for financial aid and scholarship awards.
Processes documents within the Student Information system (SIS) and determines other documentation required to complete students' financial aid files.
Monitors student enrollment, recalculating awards when necessary and notifying students who are in an overpayment status.
Enterst student financial aid tracking data into College’s computer system needed to accurately award funds to students.
Completes requests from official agencies relative to student aid information.
Conducts financial aid workshops at area schools and other locations as assigned.
Assists in implementing the College Equity Plan in accordance with its provisions.
Specific to North, East, Porter, and Spring Hill Campuses
Assists students in planning a College program of study, in interpreting college placement test scores and determining readiness to begin college level course work, career advisement, and performs other academic advising as needed.
Assists students in scheduling courses, determining the appropriate class schedule and registering for classes. Refers students to the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management when needed or required.
Recruits, markets, and registers high school students and other college‑bound individuals or groups.
Serves as liaison with area high schools and other community organizations.
Keeps students informed of transfer requirements.
Assists the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management with functions relating to academic advising and providing data needed to complete reports for follow‑up analysis, retention, and other enrollment initiatives.
Assists the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management with supervision of Financial Aid Assistant positions.
Assists the Executive Director, Financial Aid with supervision of the Federal Work Study Program.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Ability to work under deadlines and with all levels of College students
Computer literacy and knowledge
One‑year financial aid experience

Two (2) years financial aid experience
Experience in student advisement and recruitment at the postsecondary level
