BusinessRate is a business intelligence platform that analyzes Google review data to rank and score local businesses across the US. We help businesses take control of their online reputation through monitoring, review management, and listings syndication. Our data powers recognition programs and gives business owners the tools to stand out in their markets.

We're growing fast and looking for a sales rep to own outbound sales for our reputation management services.

The Role You’ll be the first dedicated sales hire focused on our reputation management product line. This is a ground‑floor opportunity to build a book of business, earn uncapped commissions, and grow with the company. This is an inside sales position. We have the leads, we just need someone with the aptitude for selling and relationship building.

You earn the first 2 months of every contract you close. No caps. Hit quota and your commission rate bumps to 1.5x.

What You’ll Do

Run discovery calls to understand business owners’ reputation challenges

Demo our platform and close deals over the phone

Manage your pipeline in our CRM and hit weekly/monthly activity targets

Upsell existing customers from Monitor to Growth or Authority tiers

Provide feedback to the team on objections, market trends, and product gaps

What You Bring

2+ years of inside sales, SaaS sales, or B2B phone sales experience

Track record of hitting or exceeding quota

Comfortable making 50+ outbound calls per day

Excellent at building rapport quickly and handling objectionsSelf‑motivated—you don’t need hand‑holding to stay productive

Experience selling to small business owners is a plus

Familiarity with reputation management, reviews, or local marketing is a bonus

Compensation

Commission:

First 2 months of contract value (uncapped)

On‑Target Earnings: $75,000+

Accelerator: 1.5x commission rate after hitting 100% of quota

Clawback: Commissions clawed back if customer cancels within 60 days

Top performers in this role can realistically earn $90,000–$110,000+ in Year 1.
