If so, we have great news for you! We are looking for a new Activities Director! An Activities Director must care deeply about the psychological, social, and spiritual needs of our residents. The ideal candidate for this job will appeal to residents from all backgrounds, providing an opportunity to celebrate individuality through expressive and creative activities. Responsibilities and Purpose
Initiate and promote activities both within and outside the facility to stimulate and promote resident interest and general well being. Encourage social communication among residents through group activities, recreation, and one-on-one activities. Plan trips (shopping, scenic, etc) and arrange for transportation and supervision. Encourage intellectual and educational development through literature, lectures, movies, cultural events, and other activities available in the community. Comply with safety regulations and policies with a thorough knowledge of federal and state guidelines. Desired Experience and Education
1+ years experience in a skilled nursing environment strongly preferred. We offer competitive pay relative to experience.
