Social Services Director Responsibilities:
Develop and implement social services programs and activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to address the social and emotional needs of residents, including counseling, advocacy, and support
Conduct social assessments and develop individualized care plans that address each resident's unique needs and goals
Provide emotional support and counseling to residents, families, and staff as needed
Coordinate and facilitate resident activities, such as therapeutic groups, recreational activities, and social events
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to social services
Mentor and supervise social services staff to promote excellence in care and develop their professional skills
Social Services Director Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in social services, preferably in a long-term care setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our residents
