About the Opportunity The People Services Director will lead all human resources operations for the organization, ensuring regulatory compliance, workforce alignment, and execution of strategic HR initiatives. This role is responsible for departmental leadership, talent management, policy oversight, and performance optimization in a regulated healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR departmental goals aligned with organizational objectives
Oversee HR operations including employee relations, performance management, and compliance
Lead staffing strategy, hiring, onboarding, evaluations, and disciplinary processes
Manage departmental budget and financial oversight
Coordinate internal and external audits
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (including HIPAA)
Foster professional development and a high‑performance culture
Supervise, coach, and develop HR staff
Qualifications Education Master’s degree in human resources or related field required
Experience
Progressive HR leadership experience
Healthcare or regulated environment experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience managing HR teams and complex employee relations matters
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance
Budget and operational management experience
Advanced communication and executive‑level presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Work Environment
Office‑based within a healthcare setting
Exposure to hospital compliance standards
Occasional travel and minimal lifting requirements
