
Orange County | Special Events Sales Leadership Opportunity
I’m partnering with a high-profile, privately operated venue group in Orange County that is expanding its Special Events Sales team.
This is about private, revenue-driven events — galas, fundraisers, charity events, school functions, corporate socials, and large-scale private bookings that activate iconic venues when public events are dark.
Two roles are open:
One Orange County–based venue events seller
One experienced events professional from LA, San Diego, or another major market who has relocated (or is willing to) and can work onsite
What they’re looking for:
5+ years in Special Events or Venue Event Sales
Proven track record of $1M+ annually in event revenue
Experience selling multiple venues is a strong plus
Comfortable prospecting, networking, touring spaces, and closingCollaborative, low-ego, team-first mindset (culture matters here)
The role:
Monday–Friday onsite, with time in the field meeting clients
Less than 20% travel (select industry events)
Team and individual sales goals
Strong partnership with internal event logistics teams (you sell — they execute)
Small, high-performing team
Event software experience required (Momentus Elite / Prismm preferred or similar platforms)
The venues are part of a large-scale, mixed-use destination redefining live experiences in Orange County.
