Position Overview
Vineyards Country Club is seeking an accomplished and member-focused
Food & Beverage Director of Service Experience
to oversee service operations across both of our dining outlets – the Pub dining restaurant and our Banquet outlet. Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, this leader will manage outlet managers and their teams to ensure that every dining interaction delivers excellence, consistency, and warmth. The ideal candidate will thrive in creating memorable experiences, engaging with members daily, and ensuring that service standards consistently reflect the Club’s culture of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Management
Oversee and mentor the outlet managers in both the Pub dining restaurant and the Banquet outlet.
Provide guidance, training, and accountability to ensure teams deliver professional, attentive, and engaging service.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that supports service excellence and employee retention.
Member Engagement & Satisfaction
Be a highly visible and approachable presence in both outlets, actively engaging with members to build relationships and receive feedback.
Anticipate member needs and work with managers to exceed expectations at every touchpoint.
Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage to implement service initiatives that enhance the members’ experience.
Operational Excellence
Ensure daily service operations run smoothly and consistently in all outlets.
Partner with managers to maintain staffing, scheduling, and training programs that support seamless service delivery.
Oversee adherence to Vineyards Gold Service Standards, ensuring members receive prompt, courteous, and professional service at all times.
Event & Dining Support
Coordinate with the Banquet outlet for flawless service execution of events, banquets, and private functions.
Support the Pub dining team in providing warm, polished service in a casual yet refined atmosphere.
Work closely with the culinary leadership team to ensure smooth communication and service alignment.
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in food & beverage service, preferably within a private club, luxury resort, or high-end hospitality setting.
Demonstrated commitment to member/guest engagement and satisfaction.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with members and staff.
Exceptional organizational, training, and team development abilities.
Knowledge of fine dining, casual dining, and banquet service best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or equivalent experience preferred.
