Position Summary The Marketing + Research Analyst supports the Development team by advancing marketing initiatives, producing clear, on-brand materials, and transforming market and project data into compelling stories. This role offers the opportunity to shape how we communicate our vision across diverse audiences, from investors and lenders to community stakeholders. This position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager, Development and the Head of Design and Brand Strategy, and collaborates closely with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to elevate branding, marketing, and development efforts across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Marketing & Design Production

Produce on-brand collateral (brochures, proposals, stakeholder updates, pitch decks, one-pagers).

Support the Development and Capital Markets teams in preparing debt and equity offering memorandums and investor presentations.

Compile and visualize underwriting metrics, pro forma outputs, and project data into clear, visually compelling materials aligned with brand standards.

Manage and maintain digital and physical asset libraries (templates, brand guides, logos, stock/custom graphics).

Maintain and update digital channels (website, social media, email campaigns) in alignment with brand standards.

Create custom materials (presentations, maps, site plans, stacking plans) and prepare files for print and digital.

Edit and enhance imagery and create mock-ups using Adobe Photoshop.

Support environmental graphics and wayfinding (from concept through production and installation with vendors).

Stay current on emerging marketing and CRE platforms, AI technologies, and visualization tools; proactively recommend new resources and best practices to keep the team competitive and innovative.

Research & Insights

Conduct market and submarket research; compile a centralized repository of sources (news, public records, CRE firm reports, etc.).

Synthesize findings into concise takeaways and themes for a variety of audiences (owner, investor, lender, general public).

Visualize data through clear charts, tables, and infographics; translate complex information into presentation-ready deliverables.

Leverage CRE tools and datasets (e.g., CoStar, Placer.ai, Census, Chamber/Economic Development reports).

Writing & Storytelling

Draft, edit, and proof business writing (project narratives, case studies, executive summaries).

Uphold brand voice and high standards for grammar, clarity, and accuracy.

Portfolio required: samples demonstrating data visualization, presentation design, and business writing.

Project Coordination & Administration

Support Development activities (vendor site walks, gathering/organizing estimates, production coordination).

Keep development and pre-development marketing materials current across channels and repositories.

Organize and manage project files/folders for easy access and version control.

Coordinate print and production with external partners to meet timelines and budgets.

Skills

Proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable; comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; crisp business writing and proofreading.

Analytical problem-solver with a knack for translating data into clear visuals and narratives.

Team-first collaborator who can also work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Basic understanding of print and web production processes and file preparation best practices.

Software:

Expert: Adobe InDesign, Microsoft PowerPoint

Proficient: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Excel, Email Marketing Platforms (e.g., MailChimp)

Plus and/or Willingness to Learn: Bluebeam, CMS platforms (e.g., SquareSpace, WordPress), data visualization tools, GIS, and AI technologies to enhance workflows.

Education & Experience

BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or related field.

2-4 years' experience in research, marketing, design, or a similar role.

Commercial real estate experience is a plus.
