Hybrid 3 days/week in either Culver City, CA or Oakland. (Potential for remote)

We’re looking for a Senior Art Director with a strong creative point of view and the ability to consistently raise the bar for a modern, culture‑driven brand. In this role, you’ll craft bold, high‑impact creative across digital channels—bringing ideas to life through compelling design, storytelling, and execution. As part of a collaborative Creative Marketing team, you’ll help shape work that resonates with a young audience and empowers millions of members to make meaningful financial progress.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $65.00 to $75.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

Collaborate with creatives to translate strong ideas into bold, breakthrough executions.

Develop engaging content for email, homepage, in-app experiences, and social media.

Guide approaches to reach and engage 18–24 audiences and share insights with the team.

Generate fresh concepts that drive brand consideration and product awareness.

Partner with marketing and agency teams to deliver innovative campaigns.

Set a high creative bar and deliver work tied to direct response, perception change, and usage.

Scale ideas up or down to meet briefs, budgets, and business goals.

Experience Requirements

4+ years of art direction experience in‑house and/or at an agency.

Portfolio demonstrating high‑performing, high‑craft, award‑winning work and conceptual strength.

Proven digital work across high‑concept, high‑performing art direction.

Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.

Strong command of design principles and responsive digital design.

Knowledge of current digital marketing best practices and performance‑driven creative.

Proven knowledge of social media best practices, platform nuances, and short‑form video.

Effective time management with ability to prioritize multiple projects from concept to completion.

Experience in consumer finance (preferred).

Ability to present ideas and articulate creative process to stakeholders (preferred).

Working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro (preferred).

Strong organizational acumen and ability to navigate complex systems (preferred).

Experience setting priorities, problem solving, multitasking, and operating in a dynamic environment (preferred).

Demonstrated humility and alignment with values of hope, ownership, progress, and empathy (preferred).

Education Requirements

Bachelor preferred.
