Edgewood Retirement Community is looking for a full time Resident Care Director to join our assisted living facility, the Woodlands Inn. The Resident Care Director role is Monday through Friday, salaried position. Scheduling is not required. A rotating on call commitment is required. The Resident Care Director (RCD) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day nursing operations of our assisted living facility, the Woodlands Inn. In this position, the Care Director will be the primary point of contact for residents, their families and outside agencies involved in resident care. The Resident Care Director will oversee all aspects of resident care including medical treatment, social activities, nutrition, hygiene and more. The Care Director will play an active role in hiring new staff members and ensuring that current employees are properly trained to perform their jobs effectively. In this role the RCD will coordinate with the various internal departments and outside vendors to ensure that the medical, social, and emotional needs and general welfare of residents is met. The RCD is responsible for assisting with supervising the direct staff of The Woodlands Inn. This position participates in the decision-making process regarding resident admissions to the Woodlands Inn and transitions to our skilled nursing facility or other facilities. 3-5 years of Assisted Living RCD experience and leadership experience is required. A current nursing license is required- RN is preferred, but not required.

Pay:

$90,000.00 – $98,000.00 per year
