
The Account Manager plays a key role within Westfalia Fruit's Commercial team, building and strengthening relationships with customers in the fresh produce sector. This positionis responsible fordriving sales growth, managing accounts, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service.
Responsibilities Sales & Account Management
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both existing and potential customers.
Conduct regularcustomerfollow-ups and engagement to understand customer requirements, preferences, and strategic goals.
Actively research and analyse customer needs, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, offering prompt solutions and addressing concerns.
Strive to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through excellent service and proactive issue resolution.
Provide customers withadand merchandising plansto supportcustomers avocadoobjectives andgrowth
Regularlycommunicatewithcustomersonmarketdynamics andtrendstokeep them uptodate
Order Processing
Monitor and verify the end to end order process of the customer purchase orders.
Regularly communicate with customers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and any adjustments.
Coordinate with Production and Quality Assurance departments to ensure order specifications are met, including special packaging requirements and quality standards.
Ensure that necessarycustomer specssuch aspackaging and labelling are in placeand provided to the rightteamsto meet customer preferences and compliance standards.
Regularly review order details for accuracy and maintain up-to-date information in internal systems.
Keepup withcustomerCRMentries andprofiles.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensurehigh level ofcustomer serviceand issue resolution.
Maintain regular communication withvariousdepartmentsacross the business.
Work with the broader Commercial team to develop and implement initiatives that enhance the overall customer experience.
Regularly share customer feedback with relevant departments to drive process improvements.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Sales, Account Management, or Sales Support roles.
Strong understandingand experience inthe fresh produce industry.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritisetasks efficiently.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional Saturdays.
