What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Meet or exceed established sales and expense goals by implementing territory-specific strategies
Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted opinion leaders and physicians
Develop and implement a Territory Business Plan to maximize sales opportunities
Complete assigned administrative tasks in a timely and organized manner
Attend regional and national conferences to enhance industry knowledge and network
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience in Nephrology, Rheumatology, or Pulmonology
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s Degree with 5+ years or 7+ years of proven pharmaceutical experience in relevant therapeutic areas
Experience selling biologics to specialty physicians in rare disease areas preferred
A valid motor vehicle operator's license
Current experience within the territory and customer knowledge highly preferred

Proven track record of success in pharmaceutical sales
Strong clinical acumen and understanding of disease states
Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and compliance guidelines
Ability to effectively communicate and adapt communication style to various audiences
Prior experience developing and implementing sales strategies
