Our products are in 100 countries globally and supporting this takes a huge effort.Smith & Nephew is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our business across the KwaZulu-Natal region. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, managing a high-performing sales team, and strengthening relationships across both State and Private Hospital markets and reports into the Business Unit Director of Advanced Wound Care.* Achieve agreed annual sales targets for the region* Lead, coach, and manage a regional sales team (direct employees and agents)* Identify and develop new business opportunities to ensure product adoption and specification* Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare decision-makers* Monitor service levels and implement performance improvement initiatives* Manage regional sales forecasting, reporting, and budget adherence* Ensure effective tender management and administration* Drive implementation of regional marketing strategies* Liaise with Managed Healthcare organisations on reimbursement matters* Ensure effective WTI and consignment management, working closely with Supply Chain and Customer Service* Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent, including succession planning* Attend and lead regional sales meetings, industry events, conferences, and workshop**Successful candidates would need the following:*** Matric Qualification* Degree within the Faculty of Health Sciences* At least 8 years of post-qualification sales experience.* Of which a min of 5 years medical device/pharma sales experience* Minimum of 3 year's Sales Management experience in the Medical or Pharmaceutical field.* Extensive knowledge of the Medical Devices Industry* Demonstrated track record of expertise and career progress, within the medical devices landscape and the ability to develop strong relationships with KOL's.**You.
