Position
Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Interior Designer specializing in residential and commercial projects to join our creative team. Duties
Develop comprehensive interior design concepts aligned with architectural plans, client objectives, and budget parameters.
Create detailed drawings and 3D models in SketchUp, Revit, Rhino 3D, AutoCAD, and 3ds Max to effectively visualize design proposals.
Prepare accurate construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and specifications, utilizing CAD software and Bluebeam.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of interior elements with structural and architectural features.
Select appropriate materials, finishes, lighting fixtures (lighting sales), and furnishings that enhance aesthetics while adhering to functional requirements.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and contracts efficiently through proactive project management practices.
Conduct site visits during renovation or remodeling phases to oversee construction quality and ensure design intent is maintained.
Present design concepts confidently through compelling visual presentations using Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop.
Coordinate lighting design aspects with clients' needs for ambiance and functionality while supporting sales efforts for lighting solutions.
Qualifications
Proven experience in interior design with a strong focus on architectural projects; a portfolio demonstrating successful project execution is essential.
Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino 3D (3ds Max), Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting and visualization purposes.
Solid understanding of drafting standards, color theory, CAD techniques, and construction documentation processes.
Knowledge of building codes, contracts management, renovation procedures, and remodeling practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members across disciplines.
Familiarity with lighting design principles and sales strategies related to lighting fixtures is a plus.
