Tee Box is a modern, performance-focused golf training facility designed to help golfers improve their game year-round. It combines industry-leading Trackman simulators, professional coaching, golf-specific fitness training, and a supportive community all in one space. Unlike traditional simulator lounges, Tee Box is built for purposeful practice, training, and long-term improvement, giving golfers a structured, data-driven environment where training, fitness, and coaching work together to elevate performance.
The Tee Box Box Pro is a professional role essential to the success of each Tee Box location. This position focuses on coaching excellence, equipment expertise, and community leadership, while contributing to member engagement, revenue growth, and a premium customer experience. The Box Pro exercises independent judgment in coaching, programming, sales support, and member engagement, and plays an active role in advancing the Company's performance standards, brand presence, and operational effectiveness.
Experience Required
PGA Member, PGA Associate, or equivalent professional golf coaching certification preferred
TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Demonstrated experience in golf instruction, player development, or performance coaching
Strong working knowledge of launch monitor technology (Trackman experience strongly preferred) and video analysis tools
Ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into clear, actionable coaching guidance
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with members
Comfort working independently, managing schedules, and exercising professional judgment
Passion for golf performance, fitness, and continuous learning
Ability to work flexible hours based on member demand, including evenings and weekends
Essential Responsibilities Coaching & Player Development
Deliver high-quality drop-in coaching to Performance Members using the Tee Box coaching system to support measurable skill improvement.
Provide individualized one-on-one coaching services to Performance+ Members seeking advanced instruction and development.
Design and adjust customized coaching plans addressing technical, physical, and mental components of performance.
Analyze player data using Trackman, Sportsbox AI, TPI, and internal systems to track progress and guide training decisions.
Conduct Box Assessments and follow-up evaluations to measure improvement and refine programming.
Support members through virtual coaching, video analysis, and digital communication to enhance engagement and retention.
Exercise professional judgment in coaching methodology, training recommendations, and member development strategies.
Club Fitting & Equipment Advisory
Perform professional club fitting sessions using advanced fitting technology and performance data.
Recommend equipment solutions aligned with each member's goals, performance metrics, and playing style.
Educate members on equipment options, performance benefits, and optimization strategies.
Maintain knowledge of current products, brands, and industry trends.
Oversee and utilize internal systems to document fittings, track opportunities, and support sales follow-up.
Community Engagement & Business Development
Build and maintain strong relationships with members and guests, fostering an inclusive and engaging community.
Convert prospective members through tours, consultations, email, phone, and text communication.
Support and participate in open houses, leagues, corporate events, and tournaments.
Conduct onboarding sessions for new members to ensure confidence using facilities, booking systems, and technology.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support membership growth, coaching programs, fittings, retail, and events.
Serve as a brand ambassador by modeling professionalism, enthusiasm, and strong interpersonal communication.
Facility Oversight & Operational Coordination
Maintain proficiency with all simulator, training, and technology systems and ensure members are supported in their proper use.
Monitor operational conditions and promptly communicate maintenance or technical needs to ownership or designated vendors.
Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance providers to help ensure facility standards are maintained.
Monitor inventory levels for consumables and communicate replenishment needs to management.
Uphold and enforce membership policies and codes of conduct to maintain a safe, professional, and positive environment.
