Tee Box is redefining golf development—where coaching, fitness, and technology intersect to help players train smarter and improve faster. We’re looking for a Box Pro who’s not just a coach, but a leader, entrepreneur, and culture-builder to lead our Richmond, VA location.
About Tee Box Richmond Tee Box is an innovative, membership-based indoor training facility. Our Richmond location features:
TrackMan simulators
Sportsbox 3D motion analysis
TPI physical screening
Golf fitness gym
Junior academies, leagues & events
Our coaching model focuses on three pillars: Coaching, Clubs, and Community—providing a 360° approach to player development. The Box Pro is central to it all.
What You’ll Do
Conduct Box Assessments with TPI, TrackMan & Sportsbox 3D
Deliver in-person and on-demand coaching using cutting-edge tools
Perform club fittings and drive equipment sales using TrackMan data
Lead the TBX Academy: junior programs, group classes & clinics
Organize community events: leagues, demos, and open houses
Manage facility operations and ensure a premium member experience
What We’re Looking For
5+ years golf industry experience (instruction, coaching, or club fitting)
Strong understanding of tech-driven coaching (TrackMan, TPI, Sportsbox)
Experience in club fitting and sales
PGA Professional certification preferred
Entrepreneurial mindset, business-savvy, and self-starter energy
Comfortable with evening/weekend shifts and managing daily operations
Excellent communication and people skills
Passion for golf, fitness, and helping others improve
Base Salary: $40,000–$60,000 (based on experience)
Commissions: ~5% on club sales + ~5% on membership revenue
Bonuses & Profit Sharing: Available for meeting growth goals
OTE: Potential to earn $90,000+ annually with commissions
PTO & Holidays:
12 days of Paid Time Off in year 1 (15 days after 1 year)
8 paid holidays per year (including Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, New Year’s Day, etc.)
$150 Monthly Stipend for health, wellness, travel, or gear
Access to elite tools: TrackMan, Sportsbox 3D, TPI, BodiTrak
Certification Support: TPI, TrackMan University & more
