Customer Engagement Specialist (Field Sales – Denver)
Greenfield Talent, Denver, Colorado, United States, 80285
Location: Denver‑based, covering Colorado & Wyoming
Travel: Local field travel required
Position Overview We are seeking a driven Customer Engagement Specialist to support field‑based prospecting and early‑stage sales engagement across the Colorado and Wyoming region. This role is 100% outbound and heavily focused on in‑person cold calling, territory coverage, and generating qualified opportunities for the sales team.
This is not an inside‑sales or phone‑only role — we need someone who thrives in the field, enjoys meeting prospects face‑to‑face, and brings a true hunter mentality.
What You’ll Do
Conduct daily in‑person cold calls to new prospects across assigned territories, including medical, aesthetic, and wellness practices.
Re‑engage existing customers to identify upgrade, replacement, or expansion opportunities.
Introduce the company’s product portfolio at a high level and assess interest, timing, and potential fit.
Navigate gatekeepers and engage decision‑makers confidently and professionally.
Lead Qualification & Handoff
Qualify prospects based on defined criteria (practice type, decision‑maker access, budget, timing, and intent).
Document all interactions, activity, and opportunity details in the CRM.
Submit fully qualified leads to the appropriate sales consultant with clear, actionable notes.
Ensure smooth handoff to maximize conversion and sales productivity.
Pipeline Activity & Sales Support
Maintain consistent daily activity levels aligned with performance expectations.
Track follow‑up cadence and ensure no opportunity falls through the cracks.
Collaborate with sales leadership to refine messaging, targeting, and qualification standards.
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of B2B field sales experience, ideally in an outbound, quota‑carrying role.
Proven success in cold‑calling, territory development, and face‑to‑face prospecting.
Experience selling a tangible product strongly preferred.
Backgrounds from structured, high‑activity environments tend to excel.
Strong work ethic, competitive drive, and resilience in the face of rejection.
Coachable, growth‑oriented, and committed to long‑term success.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).
Bachelor’s degree helpful but not required.
Role Impact This position is the front line of the sales engine — creating first impressions, opening doors, and fueling the pipeline for the broader sales team. Success in this role requires persistence, energy, and a genuine passion for connecting with customers in person.
