The Fountain Group, a national staffing firm, is currently seeking a
Business Development Representative
for a prominent client of ours. This position is fully remote.
Pay: $38/hr.
6-month assignment with potential for extension based on performance and budget.
Responsibilities
You play a key role in scaling the company’s logistics business by identifying and engaging prospective eCommerce and retail brands.
You will prospect and identify high-potential businesses through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
You will engage and qualify leads by understanding their shipping challenges, business needs, and decision‑making processes.
You will schedule meetings and product demos for Account Executives to support pipeline growth.
You will manage and track outreach activity, lead status, and pipeline updates within Salesforce CRM.
You will collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to refine messaging, target segments, and improve outbound campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications
High school diploma / GED required.
2+ years of sales or business development experience.
Proven track record of consistent, measurable over‑achievement.
Experience with outbound prospecting (calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn) / B2B Sales.
Experience using Salesforce CRM system.
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
High-level of ownership, resilience, and motivation.
Interest in logistics, eCommerce, or retail industries.
