$60,000–$120,000+ annually, based on a combination of base pay and performance-based commission. Income is directly tied to performance, with
uncapped earning potential
for estimators who consistently generate and close profitable work. Compensation is
based on experience and capabilities.

JOB SUMMARY: As an
Asphalt Sales Estimator , you will be responsible for evaluating paving and sealcoating projects, preparing accurate estimates, and supporting the sales process from initial site visit through project completion. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of asphalt operations, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct
site visits
to evaluate paving and sealcoating projects
Measure quantities and assess site conditions
Prepare accurate
estimates and proposals
Develop pricing based on scope, materials, labor, and equipment requirements
Communicate project scope and expectations with customers
Coordinate with operations, production teams, and management
Track leads, proposals, and follow-ups
Maintain organized project and customer records
Represent the company in a professional manner during customer interactions
EXPECTATIONS:

Follow all company policies, safety rules, and procedures
Be dependable, punctual, and accountable for job performance
Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and willingness to learn

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to
pass a drug screen
Valid Ohio driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable transportation
Previous experience in
asphalt estimating, construction estimating, or construction sales
required
Knowledge of
asphalt paving, sealcoating, and pavement maintenance
required
Strong math, organizational, and time-management skills
Ability to read plans, drawings, and specifications
Proficient with basic computer systems and estimating tools
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
