This role is vital to our commitment to integrity, teamwork, and precision throughout the preconstruction phase. Responsibilities: Lead the entire estimating process for commercial and tribal projects, managing budgets ranging from $5M to over $100M. Review plans, specifications, and scopes meticulously to develop precise cost estimates and prepare competitive bids. Oversee takeoffs, collaborate with subcontractors, assess bids, and formulate comprehensive proposals. Engage effectively with project management, design, and ownership teams during all preconstruction phases. Provide value engineering solutions, ensuring that constructability aligns seamlessly with project objectives. Mentor and guide junior estimators while enhancing internal estimating processes. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in estimating for commercial construction, with a focus on Native projects (BIA, IHS, HUD, or related). Demonstrated capability in estimating for large-scale new construction and renovation projects. Proficient in estimating software and takeoff tools (e.g., Bluebeam, OST, Planswift). Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods, and current market pricing. Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
