We’re hiring a
Low VoltageEstimator
to support commercial projects involving Structured cabling, Premise, Security, and A/V systems. This is not a design role, its a hands‑on estimating position responsible for reviewing drawings, pricing labor and materials, and working closely with internal teams, vendors, and general contractors to generate accurate and timely bids.
Responsibilities
Analyze drawings, specifications, and design documents to determine project scope
Perform quantity takeoffs and build cost estimates across multiple phases
Prepare bids, submit RFIs, and verify material, labor, and insurance costs
Coordinate with clients, general contractors, and subcontractors to align scope and pricing
Maintain accurate records of bids, documentation, and estimate data
Conduct site visits as needed to evaluate conditions and material needs
Engage with vendors to source pricing and explore value engineering opportunities
Support change order evaluations and update budgets when needed
Requirements
5+ years of estimating experience in commercial or industrial environments
Experience with low voltage, security, and/or A/V systems
Skilled in Excel, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet (or comparable tools)
Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills

Base salary of $80k - $85k.
