Account Executive – Oilfield Laboratory & Testing Services

Field-Based | Energy Services | Full Sales Cycle

We’re partnering with a well-established oilfield services organization that provides laboratory and testing solutions to operators and service companies across the U.S. energy sector.

This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who knows the oil patch, understands technical selling, and wants full ownership of a territory — from prospecting through close and long-term account growth.

What You’ll Be Doing As an Account Executive, you’ll own the full prospect-to-close sales cycle within an assigned territory and play a key role in expanding business with both new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities include:

Prospecting and developing new accounts while growing wallet share within existing customers

Building strong relationships with operators, service companies, and key stakeholders

Selling consultative, lab-based testing solutions related to

fluids, lubricants, greases, fuels, and oilfield operations

Partnering with internal technical and operational teams to scope work, develop proposals, and close opportunities

Managing territory strategy, pipeline, and activity using CRM tools

Maintaining a consistent presence in the field, customer sites, and laboratory environments

Ensuring smooth handoffs from sales to delivery and supporting long-term customer retention

What They’re Looking For This role is best suited for someone who combines

oilfield credibility with sales discipline .

You’ll likely bring:

2+ years of successful sales or account management experience in

oil & gas, energy services, laboratory testing, lubricants, fuels, or related technical services

A solid understanding of oilfield operations and customer pain points

Experience owning a full sales cycle and managing a territory

A consultative selling approach and comfort working alongside technical SMEs

Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills

Existing industry relationships or contacts (strongly preferred)

A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but equivalent experience is absolutely considered.

Field-based role with frequent in-territory travel

Regular time spent at customer sites, laboratories, and field locations

Approximately

30–50% travel , depending on territory

Some overnight travel for customer meetings and industry events
