Position Summary Our client, a leading utilities provider delivering reliable energy solutions to commercial, industrial, and government customers across the region, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for business accounts. In this role, you will manage customer requests, complaints, and claims while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. You'll collaborate with internal teams and vendor partners to resolve issues, process billing, manage accounts, and support financial operations, contributing to seamless service experiences in a fast‑paced utilities environment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Assist customers with account inquiries, billing, and enrollment
Process claims, contractor invoices, and fulfillment requests
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
Maintain accurate account records and follow established policies
Participate in training and development programs for customer service
Education and Experience
Minimum 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales, claims, customer accounting, or revenue recovery (required)
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Associates or Bachelor's degree (preferred)
Knowledge and Skills
Proficiency in CRM software
Basic computer skills
Strong communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Understanding of billing processes and account management
