HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT As a Senior Advisor, Community Engagement you’ll play a vital role in advancing our mission. In this position, you’ll be responsible for leading efforts to build understanding, trust, and informed awareness of organ, tissue, and cell donation within the community. This role oversees the development and execution of outreach, education, and engagement initiatives that reflect the organization’s mission and values. Ensures community engagement efforts are impactful, inclusive, and aligned with organizational goals. Guides program development, monitors performance, and champions innovation in outreach strategies to deepen public understanding and support for donation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Leadership and Supervision: Provides oversight to assigned team by supervising, guiding and directing employees to be effective team members. Ensures that everyone is equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties. Using the established people processes (performance, development, succession, and career) to ensure that their team’s level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards. Fosters a collaborative, mission-driven team culture that prioritizes empathy, inclusion, and excellence. Ensures compliance with SOP’s and regulatory practices.
Program Oversight & Planning: Leads the design, development and implementation of community education programs, and community engagement and awareness tactics that reflect LifeNet Health’s priorities in addition to addressing community needs. Assists with strategy development for community outreach initiatives. Coordinates volunteers for events. Sets measurable goals for outreach, education, and engagement initiatives; monitor progress and adjusts tactics as needed. Ensures all programs are culturally responsive, audience appropriate, evidence-informed, and aligned with best practices in donation education and awareness. Collaborates with Marketing and Communications team on marketing and public relations.
Community Relationship Management: Cultivates and maintains partnerships with community organizations and leaders, donor families and recipients, volunteers, and advocacy groups. Represents the organization at public events, forums, and media opportunities to promote donation awareness and build trust.
Evaluation & Reporting: Analyzes and evaluates educational programs, events, engagement data and community feedback to assess impact, program effectiveness and continuous improvement. Prepare reports and presentations for leadership to demonstrate impact and outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree – Business, Marketing, Education, Healthcare, or related field
THREE (3) Years – Community education programs, engagement, outreach, relationship building roles, community health and/or education, public relations or related work experience
TWO (2) Years – Supervisory experience (Guiding/Coaching/Mentoring junior staff)
Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:
THREE (3) Years – Prior experience with volunteer or public relations

Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organization
Microsoft Office and Social Media format knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Facebook, Twitter, etc
Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, implement, and monitor assignments effectively to meet the needs of the business.

COMPENSATION Salary Range: $65,971.75 - $87,962.23
Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
