Job Purpose
Help the department manager achieve sales and operational targets for online orders by precisely selecting, scanning, and staging products in accordance with Amazon's performance guidelines. Ensure efficient order processing, maintain inventory accuracy, and enhance customer satisfaction by upholding quality, freshness, and service standards.
Responsibilities
Customer Service (70%):
Accurately select, scan, and stage orders using handheld devices to ensure product quality, freshness, and completeness. Follow substitution guidelines and address any issues promptly to enhance the customer experience. Team Collaboration (10%):
Foster trust and respect among coworkers by promoting teamwork and sharing information relevant to operations. Adhere to all company policies and relevant laws. Operational Metrics (10%):
Help meet Amazon performance targets by monitoring key operational metrics such as INF Rate, Substitution Attempt Rate, Late Slam Rate, and others. Safety and Compliance (10%):
Maintain safety standards for food handling, sanitation, and productivity. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct necessary safety reports. Qualifications Education:
GED/High School Diploma Language:
Required - English; Preferred - English & Spanish Experience:
0-3 Years in a relevant role Skills: Familiarity with grocery products and store layout Comfort with handheld devices and barcoding Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting Strong prioritization and time management skills Excellent communication with teammates and leadership Adaptable to changing volumes and customer needs Awareness of food safety and compliance standards Physical Requirements: While performing essential duties, employees will regularly stand or walk on various flooring and lift up to 50 pounds, with a pulling requirement of 250 pounds. Expected working conditions may include cold, heat, humidity, and exposure to various safety risks, including being on slippery surfaces.
