Job Purpose
Support the department manager in reaching sales and operational goals for online orders by accurately selecting, scanning, and staging products according to Amazon's performance expectations. Ensure smooth order processing, uphold inventory accuracy, and boost customer satisfaction through high quality and service standards.
Responsibilities
Customer Service (70%):
Select, scan, and stage orders with precision using handheld devices to guarantee product quality and completeness. Follow guidelines for substitutions and resolve any issues swiftly to enhance the overall customer experience. Team Collaboration (10%):
Promote a respectful and trustworthy environment among coworkers, encouraging teamwork and sharing operational insights. Follow all company policies and applicable regulations. Operational Metrics (10%):
Contribute to meeting Amazon's performance benchmarks by tracking key operational metrics like INF Rate, Substitution Attempt Rate, and Late Slam Rate. Safety and Compliance (10%):
Uphold safety standards related to food handling, sanitation, and productivity. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and complete all necessary safety documentation. Qualifications Education:
GED/High School Diploma required Language:
Proficiency in English required; Spanish preferred Experience:
0-3 years in a related role Skills: Familiarity with grocery products and store layout Proficient with handheld devices and barcode scanning Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment Effective time management and prioritization skills Strong communication abilities with colleagues and management Adaptable to changes in workload and customer demands Understanding of food safety and compliance practices Physical Requirements: During essential duties, employees are expected to regularly stand or walk on various surfaces and lift up to 50 pounds, with a pulling requirement of 250 pounds. Working conditions may involve cold, heat, humidity, and potential safety risks, including slippery surfaces. Personal Protective Equipment like gloves and goggles may be necessary.
