As a Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be a trusted advisor to our clients, responsible for understanding their security needs and aligning them with our solutions. You will work closely with the sales team, providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, and crafting tailored solutions that address complex cybersecurity challenges. Your role will require a blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the sales team, SOC team, and CISO’s to understand client requirements and develop tailored cybersecurity solutions.

Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-value (PoV) exercises for prospective and existing clients.

Act as a technical advisor and resource for clients, providing guidance on the best practices for implementing and managing cybersecurity and technical solutions.

Strong familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, CIS, CMMC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).

Assist with building and maintaining an ever-evolving lab environment.

Analyze and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs), delivering detailed and persuasive technical documentation.

Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, products, and technologies to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the market landscape.

Maintain both industry and partner certifications.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their go-to resource for technical expertise during the pre-sales process.

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Experience:

3-6+ years of experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, or similar role within the cybersecurity industry.

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and a well-rounded understanding of IT infrastructure, SaaS, IaaS, cloud architecture, AI.

Proficiency in conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations to diverse audiences.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.

Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs and preparing high-quality technical documentation.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

Hands-on experience with security technologies like SIEM, SOAR, MDR/EDR, vulnerability management, penetration testing, Microsoft Azure and O365.

Understanding regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.

Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
