Role Definition This strategic role bridges the gap between business and technical teams to drive the development and adoption of digital and marketing technologies. With a focus on enhancing our MyCatFinancial digital experience, the position plays a key part in shaping how customers engage with our brand. Ideal candidates bring a strong understanding of marketing technologies, data, and digital strategy, and are passionate about delivering seamless, innovative solutions across the customer journey.
Responsibilities
Lead medium to large projects, with moderate to high complexity related to marketing technology and digital experience adoption/utilization.
Consult with marketing teams with the usage of marketing technologies to improve marketing performance to achieve business objectives. Is a deep subject matter expert in the development and delivery of experiences for sales and marketing.
Develop strategies related to digital experiences and digital marketing process excellence to improve marketing performance. Leads efforts in developing marketing technology roadmaps based on business requirements and marketing performance measures. Leads creation, analysis and validation of business requirements, translating them into detailed functional requirements and features, and defining success of the experience. This includes creating features, defining dependencies, impacts and acceptance criteria, and obtaining requirements sign-off from requesting business partners.
Represent the business in marketing technology and/or data planning meetings, road mapping, reveals, and retrospectives. In addition, responsible for creating, maintaining, prioritizing, and communicating the digital backlogs based on business strategy.

Level: Extensive Experience – Facilitates creation of the "right" products and services to resolve customer business issues.

Effective Communications – Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Relationship Management – Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Technical Excellence – Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
Strategic Thinking – Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
Vendor/Supplier Management – Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers.
Digital Marketing – Knowledge of processes, techniques, and platforms of digital marketing; ability to implement or manage digital marketing programs.
Additional Information Onsite 5 days per week based at the Nashville main office.
Compensation & Benefits Summary Pay Range:
$118,860.00 - $190,176.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
