Role Definition This strategic role bridges the gap between business and technical teams to drive the development and adoption of digital and marketing technologies. With a focus on enhancing our MyCatFinancial digital experience, the position plays a key part in shaping how customers engage with our brand. Ideal candidates bring a strong understanding of marketing technologies, data, and digital strategy, and are passionate about delivering seamless, innovative solutions across the customer journey.

Responsibilities

Lead medium to large projects, with moderate to high complexity related to marketing technology and digital experience adoption/utilization.

Consult with marketing teams with the usage of marketing technologies to improve marketing performance to achieve business objectives. Is a deep subject matter expert in the development and delivery of experiences for sales and marketing.

Develop strategies related to digital experiences and digital marketing process excellence to improve marketing performance. Leads efforts in developing marketing technology roadmaps based on business requirements and marketing performance measures. Leads creation, analysis and validation of business requirements, translating them into detailed functional requirements and features, and defining success of the experience. This includes creating features, defining dependencies, impacts and acceptance criteria, and obtaining requirements sign‑off from requesting business partners.

Represent the business in marketing technology and/or data planning meetings, road mapping, reveals, and retrospectives. In addition, responsible for creating, maintaining, prioritizing, and communicating the digital backlogs based on business strategy.

Digital Marketing

Works with external vendors (search engine vendors, social media vendors, etc.) on how to market products and services better.

Oversees the implementation of digital marketing programs within assigned region(s).

Evaluates the effectiveness of digital marketing programs, and optimizes current digital marketing techniques and channels.

Coaches others about digital marketing techniques, tools, and platforms.

Implements the cost and profit analysis of digital marketing activities, and makes suggestions based on results.

Collaborates across teams to design and improve customer engagement and customer experiences in digital marketing campaigns.

Additional Information Onsite, 5 days per week at the Nashville main office.

Compensation & Benefits Summary Pay Range:

$118,860.00 - $190,176.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
