We’re looking for a creative
Volunteer Communications Strategist
to help shape our voice, grow our visibility, and communicate why safe, healthy AI for children matters. You’ll work with leadership to develop messaging, storytelling, and communication plans for audiences including parents, educators, funders, and policymakers. Key Responsibilities Refine core messaging about AI’s impact on childhood Develop communication strategies for campaigns and initiatives Draft or edit press releases, op-eds, newsletters, blogs, and social content Tailor messaging for different audience segments Strengthen brand consistency across channels Spot media and thought-leadership opportunities Support digital presence (website, email, social) Ideal Skills & Experience Communications, marketing, journalism, PR, or narrative strategy background Strong writing and storytelling skills Ability to simplify complex topics Familiarity with AI, child development, or tech policy (plus, not required) Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote setting What You’ll Gain A chance to shape global conversations on AI and childhood Portfolio-building, high-impact communications work Collaboration with cross-disciplinary experts An opportunity to help a growing nonprofit expand its reach
