Oversee leading worship for Sunday worship services.
Oversee and manage all areas of in-person worship production (audio, lights, visuals, live stream).
Evaluate, develop, direct, and disciple a team of musicians.
Work closely with elders in selection of songs and management of the church’s song database.
Meet with other pastoral staff for weekly service planning, including order of service, song selection, Scripture readings, etc.
Schedule all music and audio/visual volunteers.
Responsible for worship for special events (Special Holiday services).
Recruit, train, and organize music and production volunteers.
Plan, prepare, and lead worship team/band practices.
Assist in the development of an annual budget for the worship ministry.
Lead stage & lighting design and upkeep.
Manage all needs related to audio/visual equipment, storage, and upkeep.
Attend weekly staff meetings.
Attend and participate in adult discipleship ministries of the church (Bible studies, Cornerstone classes, etc.).
Other ministry area
If a full-time role, our desire is for the Worship Director to oversee an additional area of ministry related to their personal giftings, desires, and the current needs of the church.
The details of this portion of the role will be determined in the interview process.

Possess excellent verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality and trust regarding leader and member information.
