Overview
Join Assembly's Summer Internship Program and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment. Over 10 weeks, you'll work on real-world projects, receive mentorship from industry leaders, and have the opportunity to network within the Stagwell network of agencies. This is more than an internship-it's your chance to kickstart your career in the marketing and advertising industry.
As an intern, you'll collaborate with our teams on meaningful client projects, attend exclusive workshops and speaker events, and participate in optional programs like Shark Tank-style competitions and career path mini-series.
Our program is open to college juniors, seniors, and recent graduates who are eager to explore different facets of the marketing and advertising industry.
Successful applicants must commit to the duration of the program from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026. They will follow a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in-office at 1WTC and 2 days of remote work each week. The working hours will be from 9 AM to 5 PM ET, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
The Social intern will support the Director and Manager across a portfolio of client accounts including but not limited to the energy/utilities, financial services/technology, and retail verticals. Interns will also have the opportunity to learn paid social fundamentals, including media strategy/planning, hands-on keys campaign setup, and reporting/insights. The intern will also develop their written and verbal communication skills by drafting email responses, contributing to reporting write-ups and interacting with the larger account teams. Additionally, they will observe how campaigns are optimized for performance and watch top talent present social strategies to clients. There will also be opportunities to shadow subject matter experts (SMEs) across disciplines including search, programmatic, etc.
Learn the strategic investment and activation of both traditional and digital media channels Support the team in executing media for client campaigns Gain exposure to digital media buying, including direct social media buying across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit and other platforms Learn how integrated partnerships are planned, activated, and measured across channels Collaborate with internal teams to support integrated campaign strategy, execution, and reporting Develop an understanding of how media investments align with client objectives and performance goals
Additional Responsibilities
Project Work: Contribute to ongoing client deliverables, including reporting, participating in internal/external meetings, and collaborating on project management. Complete an individual capstone social project (case study). Development: Participate in career workshops, speaker events, and team-building activities. Complete dedicated social platform training (Meta Blueprint Digital Marketing Associate). Networking: Engage with peers and professionals across Assembly and the Stagwell network during site visits and events Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field preferred. Rising Junior, Senior, or recent Grads Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Docs, and similar applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $18-$20/hour. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
