
Relationship Banker
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Relationship Banker to join our team. This role involves assisting customers with various banking transactions, promoting products, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Assist with monetary transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing. Provide special deposit services for customers, such as escrow, collateral, and trust accounts. Open new accounts and maintain existing accounts following established banking policies and procedures. Promote and sell products and services suitable for customers. Participate in branch functions to support branch earnings and growth objectives. Engage in sales meetings and training programs to enhance product knowledge and selling skills. Ensure proper documentation for all accounts. Utilize ChexSystems and OFAC for new account procedures. Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds as necessary. Answer customer inquiries regarding account balances and transactions. Respond to customer requests, problems, and complaints, directing them to appropriate personnel if needed. Notarize bank-related documents when required. Essential Skills: 3+ years of banking experience Experience working with specialized deposits (investments, escrow, etc.) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Additional Skills & Qualifications: A personable and welcoming demeanor Proficiency in data entry, customer service, accounting, and payment processing Work Environment: This position is fully onsite, with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. You will be part of a small, close-knit team of three, including yourself. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
