Northview Company is expanding its property management division and seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager Trainee to support our commercial retail, office, and mixed-use portfolio.
This is a part-time contract role designed for someone who values accountability, organization, and professional communication. We operate with high standards and same-day responsiveness.
This position offers structured exposure to commercial real estate operations within a disciplined environment.
Responsibilities
Track rent collections and accounts receivable
Maintain accurate rent rolls and property records
Coordinate vendors and document work orders
Assist with invoice tracking and expense documentation
Conduct property visits and inspections
Respond to tenant maintenance requests
Support preparation of monthly owner reporting packages
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable personal vehicle for property visits
Strong organizational skills and follow-through
Professional written and verbal communication
Ability to respond to calls, emails, and texts the same day
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
Familiarity with QuickBooks
Exposure to commercial real estate or bookkeeping
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk properties and stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to safely navigate parking lots, stairwells, rooftops, and mechanical areas
