Role Description HSQ is seeking a n Entry Level Roadway/Civil Engineer or Engineering Designer with experience in roadway 3D m odeling to support transportation projects within the r oadway department. The ideal candidate will assist with plans production through the project lifecycle , from m aster plan through f inal plans , for projects ranging from intersection improvements to large corridor designs. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
3-4 years of relevant experience
or
2 years of relevant experience with EI/EIT
Proficiency in 3D modeling roadway, drainage, and utility designs in Bentley OpenRoads
Experience preparing roadway plans, profiles, and cross sections
Ability to manage multiple tasks across various disciplines (Utilities, Drainage, Signing & Marking, etc.)
Preferred Requirements
Experience with utility coordination, responding to agency comments, and attending project meetings
Familiarity with FDOT standards and procedures
Familiarity with drainage analysis , stormwater reports, and permitting
Knowledge of automation tools within Bentley OpenRoads
