The Role We areseekinga high-energy, decisive

Proposal Estimator

to join our team in Anaheim. Reporting directly to the President, you will be the linchpin between our sales, marketing, and design departments. Your primary mission is to ensure that every bid wesubmitisaccurate, competitive, and strategically aligned with our business profitability targets.

This is not just a "numbers" role—it is a strategic position that requires a deep understanding of the Architecture & Engineering (AEC) lifecycle. You must act with a sense of urgency to ensure we capture the internal effortrequiredto deliver projects on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

Accurate Estimating:

Collaborate with Design and Sales teams to quantify the level of effort, hours, and resourcesrequiredfor complex engineering projects.

Strategic Bidding:

Ensure all proposals reflect internal profitability targets whileremainingcompetitive in the market.

Tool & Template Development:

Build andmaintainscalable templates and tools to streamline the bidding process, ensuring repeatability and speed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Act as the bridge between Marketing’s vision, Sales’ targets, and the Design team’s technical reality.

Data Management:

UtilizeCRM and ERP systems to track bid accuracy, historical performance, and win/loss data to refine future estimates.

Qualifications

Experience:

Demonstratedexperience in the

Architecture & Engineering (AEC) design space

isrequired.

Communication:

Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills.

TechnicalProficiency:

*Experience with

Salesforce

(or similar CRM) is a plus.

Experience with

Deltek

(or similar AEC ERP platforms) is highly desired.

Advancedproficiencyin Excel or other estimating software.

Process Mindset:

A proven ability to use technology to enable scalable, repeatable workflows.

Legal:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
