Under the general supervision of a Radiologist, this role performs imaging procedures in two or more modalities , with a 50% focus on an advanced discipline such as CT. The technologist ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with departmental protocols. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures according to established protocols Communicate with patients using AIDET to ensure understanding and comfort Prepare patients and imaging areas, including positioning, immobilization, and equipment adjustment Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards Maintain imaging equipment and collaborate with engineers and physicists for optimal operation Screen patients and staff according to safety policies Obtain, verify, and maintain all relevant patient documentation (charts, history, pregnancy status, consent forms, etc.) Maintain accurate imaging records and ensure timely interpretation Provide first aid and emergency response as needed Serve as preceptor and assist in training new staff or implementing new services Ensure patient satisfaction by providing timely, professional, and courteous service Qualifications X-ray and CT experience (minimum 2 years in each) Active Texas license ARRT certification US Citizen or Green Card holder
